What to Expect

Two people may suffer from the same thing, be it anxiety, nail biting, a phobia, yet their presentation of their suffering will be completely unique to them. This is because we all experience our version of the world differently; we all have our own way of 'doing our problems'. As a Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapist I am trained to recognise these nuances and support you in a way that is bespoke to your individual needs. Through specialised therapeutic techniques including NeuroLinguistic Programming (NLP), Word Weaving®, EFT, Somatic and Breath practices, amongst others, we work together to help you get to from your problem pattern to your solution state.

There are two simple, yet effective questions that guide the therapeutic process:

What's that about? & How can I use it?

These prompts direct our therapeutic journey together and chart the course of action from your problem pattern to your solution state.

  • What's that about?

We will start by identifying the problem you are facing. What exactly is happening in your daily life? When does it occur, and are there times or situations when it doesn’t? This is where we begin to explore what unconscious scripts might be playing in the background and which parts of your life may need care and improvement.

  • How can I use it?

Once we gather enough information about your problem, we can make the unconscious conscious. This allows for the rewiring of unhelpful patterns, shifting you from problem to solution. Techniques may target specific memories or involve regulating your nervous system through breath, movement, or nature-based practices. Therapy is always tailored to your needs, which may change each session.
